Biography:
Andrew Brower is a partner at Law Firm Carolinas, a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law, and head of the firm’s Estate Planning and Probate department. Based in Greensboro, he assists clients with North Carolina matters beyond the immediate office area.
Andrew helps individuals and families with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, estate and trust administration, and Medicaid and long-term care planning. He also advises fiduciaries about their responsibilities and assists with residential real estate closings and business matters.
Before joining Law Firm Carolinas in 2020, Andrew practiced with a boutique elder law firm for four years, focusing on estate planning, estate and trust administration, long-term care and Medicaid planning, tax issues, asset protection, and fiduciary law. His earlier general practice experience included real estate, business law, litigation, and special proceedings.
Andrew regularly publishes articles on estate planning and probate. He graduated magna cum laude from Elon University School of Law, where he served on the Elon Law Review. He also holds an M.B.A. from Western Carolina University and a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University.
Outside the office, Andrew enjoys writing songs, playing music, and spending time with friends and family. He is an avid N.C. State Wolfpack fan and lives in Greensboro with his wife, daughter, and four cats.

Experience:
With his business degree and M.B.A., Andrew held positions as both a sales and operations manager with a large national retailer. As an attorney, Andrew worked at a general practice law office for two years where he handled a variety of cases including criminal and traffic matters, family law, real estate, business law, personal injury, estate planning and estate administration, general litigation, civil disputes, and special proceedings such as partition actions, foreclosure defense, name changes, and adoptions. Andrew went on to work with a boutique elder law firm for four years which focused on sophisticated long-term care and Medicaid planning, tax issues, asset protection, estate planning, estate and trust administration, fiduciary law and real estate. Andrew joined Law Firm Carolinas in 2020 and currently manages the firm’s Estate Planning and Probate department while also assisting with residential real estate closings. Andrew has over a decade of experience practicing law and is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law.
